Number of Beds: 100
Staff: 2 Occupational Therapists, 3 outpatient COTAs, 2 inpatient COTAs
Shift: Day shift only
Patient Ratios: Approximately 7-10 patients per therapist
Equipment: Standard inpatient and outpatient equipment including estim, ultrasound, infrared
Documentation System: Meditech
Call Requirements: None

Typical Procedures

Outpatient evaluations
Progress reports
Discharge notes
Focus areas: Upper extremity orthopedics and neurology
Inpatient evaluations preferred
Main expertise needed: Ability to type reports so onsite OTs can focus on patient care

Dress Code

Scrubs color: Light gray

Work Environment

Friendly team-oriented atmosphere
Ideal candidate can work both outpatient and inpatient adult populations, Tuesday through Saturday

Required Qualifications

Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
Current Occupational Therapist license in Florida
BLS certification
OTR certification
