Job Opportunity: Emergency Room RN

Location: Providence, Rhode Island
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Schedule: Nights only, 48 hours per week (no variations)
Home Unit: Emergency Room
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC proficiency required

Job Description

Seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses to provide patient-centered nursing care in accordance with ANA Standards. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Department (ED) / Emergency Room (Emergency Medicine) experience, including experience within the last year
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, evidenced by diploma or transcripts, for RN positions
Current certifications issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Proficiency with Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
