Job Summary

Seeking an ARRT Certified Radiologic Technologist for a Cardiac Cath Lab position. This role involves working 4x10 hour day shifts (7:00 am - 5:30 pm) with 7 call shifts per 4-week schedule block, including some full weekend call shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). The unit specializes in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology (EP) procedures, including PCI, Impella, balloon pump, device implants, and ablations.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 3+ years of recent experience as a Cath Lab Technician.
• Experience in interventional cardiology, cardiac procedures, PCI, and EPIC charting system.
• Cath/EP Lab experience with responsibilities including scrubbing for device implants, lead revisions, and ablations.
• Ability to float to Interventional Radiology as needed.

Certifications & Licenses Required

• ARRT Certification (Radiologic Technologist)
• Current Massachusetts Radiology Tech License (no conditional licenses accepted)
• AHA ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA certification only accepted for this location)
• N95 Fit Test within 1 year of start date (no exemptions allowed)
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation (if fit test required)

Equipment Used

• Toshiba X-Ray systems
• Cannon equipment

Work Environment

• Cardiac Cath and EP Lab with 2 procedure rooms
• Call room available on site for call shifts

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• 3+ years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab experience
• Radiology Technician experience
• ARRT certification
• Interventional Cardiac experience
• PCI experience
• Scrub experience for device implants, lead revisions, and ablations
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record system

Required Qualifications & Compliance

• Documentation of immunizations and health screenings including:

  • MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) immunity or vaccination proof
  • TB test within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test)
  • Health statement signed by a licensed provider within 1 year
• Criminal background checks and CORI (Massachusetts) background checks within 30-45 days of start date
• Verification of education and professional licenses
• Submission of a detailed resume covering the last 7 years of work experience
• Two professional references (minimum one supervisor-level)
• Completion of skills checklist within 1 year of submission
• Confirmation of assignment form upon acceptance and for any extensions

Additional Notes

• Floating to Interventional Radiology may be required.
• No prior travel experience explicitly required.
• EMR system used: EPIC - Cupid.
