Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position

Location: Springfield, Missouri
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description

Seeking an Occupational Therapist with inpatient rehabilitation and/or acute care experience. The facility provides inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions. The environment includes specialized units such as brain injury and stroke care, equipped with advanced therapy devices and supportive amenities like private rooms, therapy gyms, and outdoor healing spaces.

Position Details

• Discipline: Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekend Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Call Requirements: None
• Patient Population: Geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients (13 years and older)
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 7 patients per therapist
• Equipment Used: EKSO, InMotion UE Robotic, Body weight support systems
• Electronic Health Records (EHR): UDS and Epic

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Missouri
• Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapist experience, including therapy experience
• Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
• Experience in a Rehabilitation setting
• Experience in a Post Acute setting
• Experience in an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF)
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

• Neurological conditions
• Orthopedic injuries
• Debility
• Cardiac rehabilitation
