Job Opportunity: ER Registered Nurse (RN) - Days

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in a 28-bed Emergency Room department including:
- 4 trauma bays
- 2 behavioral health rooms
- 22 cardiac monitor rooms
Fast-paced environment with rapid patient turnover
Team-oriented setting
Schedule: Days, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts (36 hours weekly)
No guarantee of hours

Required Certifications

Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Preferred (not required):

Procedural Sedation
TMCC
EMPC

Licensure

Must possess an active professional nursing license for the State of Hawaii by the start of the assignment
If not currently licensed in Hawaii, must apply immediately upon acceptance

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Hawaii
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room Nurse (ER RN) experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment on Friday
Do not accept the start date if unable to arrive on time

Prior Travel Experience

Prior travel experience is required for this position
