Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER) - Nights

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

As an ER nurse, your primary responsibility is to identify medical issues, determine their severity, and provide immediate support to minimize negative long-term effects or sustain life. You will be one of the first responders when a patient is admitted to the emergency room.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience (required)
• Current Oklahoma RN license or compact license
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS (AHA) certification required
• PALS (AHA) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required (1-year certification preferred)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred

Additional Information

• Recent travel experience is preferred but not required
• Candidates must provide:

  • Work history
  • Skills checklist current to within 1 year relevant to ER nursing
  • Two supervisory reference forms from within the last two years
  • Permanent address information
• Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate
• On-call pay applies with a minimum of 1 hour

• Prior travel experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Non-compete policy applies for former direct employees (6-month waiting period)
