• Shift: Monday - Friday, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM
• Schedule: Rotating call and holiday coverage required
• Caseload: 10-15 patients per day
• Weekend Requirement: Rotational weekend call
• On-call: Yes
• Floating: No floating to sister facilities

Job Description

• Perform MRI imaging including general, musculoskeletal (MSK), neuro, vascular, and cardiac MR imaging for adults and pediatric patients.
• Patients may require anesthesia, ventilator support, or have conditional implants.
• Use of PACS (Phillips iSite), contrast administration, document scanning, and Care Logistics software.

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience within the last year
• ARRT certification (National Certification required; VA state license NOT required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA provider card required
• Experience with PACS and contrast administration

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Valid Driver’s License/State ID
• Background checks including criminal, education verification, and federal/state registries
• Drug testing within 30 days prior to start
• Physical exam within 1 year prior to start
• Fit mask (N95) testing and documentation, updated annually
• Immunizations and titers: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella (vaccines or immune titers required; boosters or declinations accepted)
• TB testing or chest X-ray as applicable
• Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
• COVID vaccination documentation or declination on file
• References: 2 required from supervisors or licensed providers within the last 2 years (outside of this facility if previously employed here)
• Employment application and work history verification (2 years required)
• Skills checklist for clinical candidates

Certifications & Competencies

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA provider card required
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, and other certifications not required for this role but may be relevant for other specialties
• Medication/Pharmacology competency exam and color blindness testing required for clinical candidates

Additional Notes

• Candidates must complete facility-specific orientation and compliance modules prior to start.
• Rotating call and holiday coverage are mandatory parts of the schedule.
• Locals are accepted.
• Pending state license accepted only if ARRT certified; VA license not required for MRI Tech.

This position is ideal for MRI Technologists with at least 1 year of experience who are comfortable with a block schedule and on-call responsibilities in a Level II Trauma Center environment.
