Registered Nurse (Cardiology / Intermediate Care)

Location: Farmington, New Mexico

Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse with Cardiology and Intermediate Care (IMC) experience for a night shift position in a 24-bed unit. The role involves caring for adult to geriatric patients with various cardiac and medical conditions in a Level III trauma center environment.

Shift Details

Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
36 to 48 hours per week (3 or 4 twelve-hour shifts)
Weekend hours vary every other week
No call requirements
Floating to other units as needed (PCU, Medical, Surgical, Nephrology)

Patient Care Ratios

IMC patients: 1 RN to 3-5 patients depending on shift
Med/Surg patients: 1 RN to 5-6 patients

Required Certifications

BLS (American Heart Association)
ACLS (American Heart Association)

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse license in New Mexico
Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
Cardiology experience
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Information

Must be able to float to other units as needed
Patient population ranges from adult to geriatric
Associate degree in nursing or higher required
