Job Opportunity: Technologist (MRI)

Location: Middlebury, Vermont
Employment Type: Contract Clinician
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Responsible for patient safety and performing high-quality MRI studies. Ensures effective communication with radiologists and customers. May train new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications and aseptic injection technique
• Produce high-quality diagnostic MRI images
• Order supplies, clean the unit, and assist in preparing for transport daily
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and customers
• Train new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators as needed

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience
• ARRT (R) or ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required (as allowable by contract)
• State license required, if applicable
• CPR certification required
• Valid state driver’s license required, if applicable
• MRI Registry preferred
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
• Ability to work at multiple locations
• Local travel may be required
