Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D) (Nights)

Location: Coos Bay, Oregon
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Manage OB triage, outpatient testing, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and nursery care.
No circulating or scrubbing in the OR required.
Use of OBIX for fetal surveillance and EPIC for electronic health records (experience with these systems highly preferred).
Provide nursing care within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
Teach patients and their support persons.
Document patient care in medical records.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with OBIX and EPIC systems.
Certifications in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) and STABLE program.

Additional Information

Must provide a current resume and skills checklist (within 1 year).
Certifications do not need to be active at time of submission but willingness to obtain is required.
Oregon RN license does not need to be active at time of submission but willingness to obtain is required.

Notes

This position involves night shifts.
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
