Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D) (Nights)
Location: Coos Bay, Oregon
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Manage OB triage, outpatient testing, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and nursery care.
- No circulating or scrubbing in the OR required.
- Use of OBIX for fetal surveillance and EPIC for electronic health records (experience with these systems highly preferred).
- Provide nursing care within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
- Teach patients and their support persons.
- Document patient care in medical records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with OBIX and EPIC systems.
- Certifications in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) and STABLE program.
Additional Information
- Must provide a current resume and skills checklist (within 1 year).
- Certifications do not need to be active at time of submission but willingness to obtain is required.
- Oregon RN license does not need to be active at time of submission but willingness to obtain is required.
