Job Opportunity: Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Potosi, Missouri

Job Description

• Serve as an assessing therapist with a lighter caseload and take on some Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) responsibilities.
• Attend morning and facility meetings and manage scheduling.
• Provide strong leadership and direction to the rehabilitation team, including PT, OT, ST, PTA, and COTA.
• Oversee and ensure compliance with PDPM (Patient-Driven Payment Model) processes.
• Develop and enhance rehabilitation programs for high-acuity patients.
• Foster collaboration among interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor and analyze clinical and financial performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Speech and Language Pathologist.
• Experience in a leadership role within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) rehabilitation setting.
• Knowledge of PDPM.
• Valid Missouri State License for Speech and Language Pathology.
• New graduates are not accepted for this position.
