Description
Job Opportunity: Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Potosi, Missouri
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Serve as an assessing therapist with a lighter caseload and take on some Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) responsibilities.
- Attend morning and facility meetings and manage scheduling.
- Provide strong leadership and direction to the rehabilitation team, including PT, OT, ST, PTA, and COTA.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with PDPM (Patient-Driven Payment Model) processes.
- Develop and enhance rehabilitation programs for high-acuity patients.
- Foster collaboration among interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Monitor and analyze clinical and financial performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Missouri
- Minimum 1 year of Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year
- Experience in Long Term Care settings
- Experience in Rehabilitation settings
- Knowledge of PDPM
Additional Information
- 8-hour shifts, day schedule.
