Job Opportunity: PACU Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Easton, Maryland
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

Role: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse
Shift: Day position with variable shifts (8 to 10 hours) between 07:00 and 20:30
Patient Population: Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults
Holidays: Required as scheduled
Weekends: Every other weekend required
Floating: Required within specialty and to other units within scope
On-call: Required; typically two shifts in a four-week period, occasionally three

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maryland
Minimum 1 year of recent PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) experience within the last year
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association
NIHSS certification
NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Requirements

Must be available for floating and on-call duties as described
Must comply with all facility policies and procedures
Must complete all required health screenings and documentation prior to start
Must be able to work variable day shifts within PACU operating hours

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
This is a travel/contract role with a defined 13-week assignment
