Job Opportunity: RN - ICU

Location: Brighton, Colorado

Contract Length: Approximately 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Perform independent nursing and delegated medical functions according to state Board of Nursing standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Continuously evaluate patient health status through data collection and assessment.
• Provide health teaching and counseling.
• Deliver supportive and restorative therapy and treatment directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching.
• Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed.
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
• Document care in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Utilize resources effectively.
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency.
• May be required to be on-call during scheduled shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Colorado.
• Ability to perform all essential nursing duties satisfactorily.
• Meet knowledge, skills, education, training, licensure, and experience requirements for the role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.

Additional Information

• This position involves working in an ICU setting.
• Flexibility to float to other departments and be on-call may be required.
