Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical (Night Shift)
Location: Evansville, Indiana
Unit: Post-Surgical Unit
Beds: 22
Patient Ratio: 1:4-5
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
Provide nursing care on a post-surgical unit with a focus on medical/surgical patients during night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Completion of Ascension Pharmacology Exam
- Completion of Ascension Medical Surgical Exam
- Completion of Ascension Core Competencies
- Completion of Ascension EKG Exam
- Completion of Ascension Skills Checklist

- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.

- All exams and certifications must be updated every 3 years or as specified.
