Location: Mount Vernon, Washington

Job Requirements

• Valid RN license in Washington
• 1 year Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• State License 1 Verification

Required Qualifications & Compliance

• Background check covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in the past 7 years
• Education verification (US equivalency documentation if education completed out of county)
• Primary source verification of state nursing license
• 2 professional references completed within 1 year of start
• Photo for badge
• Completion of confidentiality, crime disclosure, and conflict of interest forms
• Required health documents and immunizations including:

  • Tdap vaccine or signed declination
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframe
  • MMR vaccines or positive titers for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
  • Varicella vaccines or positive titer
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or declination (mask required if declined during flu season)
• 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Competency exam required

Notes

• Floating to sister facilities may include Cascade Valley and Skagit Valley locations
• Call is required but not overnight or on-call shifts
• No prior travel experience required for this position

This position is suitable for RNs with at least 1 year of experience who are comfortable with variable shifts and floating between facilities. Basic Life Support certification is mandatory.
