Location: Colville, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Job Details
- Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Floating: No floating between units; however, may float to another facility about 30 minutes away if needed.
- On-Call: Not required
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
- Block Schedules: Yes
- Patient Ratios: 1:3
- Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital (No Trauma)
- Total Staffed Beds: 25
- Charting System: Epic
- Parking: No fee
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Washington
- Copy of Professional State License
- Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
Schedule & Work Environment
- Work Schedule: Block schedules with every other weekend required
- Patient Load: 1 Respiratory Therapist to 3 patients ratio
- Facility: Small critical access hospital with 25 staffed beds
- Charting: Electronic health records via Epic system
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Background Checks:
- Comprehensive background check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years
- Must include SSN trace, death master index, nationwide and county checks, sex offender registry, education verification, and motor vehicle record if applicable
- Background checks must be updated annually
- Licensure Verification: State license verification and NURSYS verification as applicable
- Health Documents:
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Immunizations and screenings including:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years or declination accepted)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season
- COVID-19 vaccine or declination
- Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (instant tests not accepted)
- Respirator clearance (RespSafety) required annually for respirator use
- References: Minimum of 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Employment Application: Must include at least last 5 years of employment with month/year format for dates worked
- Skills Checklists: Annual skills checklist required for applicable units
Additional Requirements
- Float Policy: Acknowledgement required; may be required to float to another facility within reasonable distance
- Photo for Badge: Passport-style photo with neutral background required (facility-specific)
- Training Modules:
- Completion of annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via Workramp LMS platform
- Epic training modules completion required within a week of orientation
- Trauma-informed care training required prior to start
- Housing:
- Housing options available including furnished rooms in a shared home (female only) with utilities included
- Housing cost approximately $1100-$1500/month
