Job Opportunity: Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer
Location: Easton, Maryland
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Job Details
- Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (07:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
- Patient Age Range: Infants, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
- Average Daily Census: 10 patients
- Bed Count: 140 beds
- Holidays: Required as scheduled
- Weekends: Not required
- Floating: Required within specialty as needed
- On-call: Not required
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer
- First-time travelers are accepted (prior travel experience not required)
Required Licenses and Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA only
- ARDMS or CCI RCS certification; RDCS(AE) acceptable
Required Qualifications & Compliance
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Echo Technologist, with experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ARDMS or CCI certification
Orientation & Facility Requirements
- Orientation typically held at 8 AM on Tuesdays (may vary by specialty)
- Dress code: Scrubs (Ceil Blue color for this role)
- Photo for badge required (passport-style with solid white/beige background)
- Completion of confidentiality agreements and facility-specific documents prior to start
- Completion of competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable
Additional Notes
- Floating within the specialty may be required
- No weekends or on-call duties expected
- Holiday work as scheduled
This position offers a structured travel contract opportunity for Echo Techs / Cardiac Sonographers with at least 1 year of experience, including those new to travel assignments.
