Job Opportunity: Technologist - X-Ray (Night Shift)

Location: Waterloo, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work setting includes outpatient, inpatient, emergency room (ER), and surgery departments.
• Average scans per day: 100-120.
• Equipment used: Siemens (x-ray rooms and portable units) and GE C-arm in surgery.
• Responsibilities include performing X-Ray imaging and transporting ER patients and outpatients.
• Work hours: 36-40 hours per week, with overtime applicable after 40 hours.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months (2 years) of hospital-based X-Ray / Radiologic Technologist experience.
• Experience with Siemens imaging equipment (required).
• Experience with GE C-arm equipment in surgery (required).
• Experience working in outpatient, inpatient, ER, and surgery settings (required).
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system (required).
• Valid Iowa Radiology license (required; must be obtained during onboarding if inactive).
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification (required).
• Valid driver’s license (required).

• New travel technologists are welcome to apply.
• Orientation scheduled prior to assignment start.
• Professional references from supervisors or clinical leadership within the last 24 months are preferred.
