Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Seattle, Washington
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide cardiopulmonary services to both inpatients and outpatients following approved protocols and department policies. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
- Delivery of medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
- Maintaining airways and ventilator management
- Insertion of arterial lines and intubations
- Performing pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analysis
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Washington
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association

- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this role.

- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is requested but not specified as mandatory.
