Registered Nurse (Home Health / Hospice)

Location: Sheridan, Wyoming
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour shifts)
• Alternating weekends and shared on-call among 4-6 RNs
• Use of personal vehicle required for patient visits within a 30-mile radius

Job Description

Provide nursing care in a Home Health and Hospice setting, including care for terminally ill patients and support for families during bereavement. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, providing, and documenting patient care according to physicians' orders and professional standards. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations and participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wyoming
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience
• At least 1 year of Home Health experience within the last year
• Experience in a Home Health setting
• Acute Care experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Additional Information

• Exposure to blood, body fluids, infectious diseases, hazardous waste, and chemicals may occur; PPE use required
• Must maintain required licensure, certifications, and mandatory education
• Adherence to privacy and security regulations (HIPAA, HITECH, 42 CFR Part 2) is mandatory
