Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown (Nights)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
Work schedule includes night shifts in a Stepdown/Progressive Care unit.
Patient ratio approximately 1:4-5.
Use of EPIC electronic medical record system required.
Orientation sessions available on scheduled dates.

Required Qualifications

Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license at time of submission.
Minimum of 2 years of Stepdown/Progressive Care nursing experience (24 months preferred).
Experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC.
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC.
Valid driver’s license.
Skills checklist specific to Stepdown/Progressive Care discipline required.
Professional references or performance evaluations within the last 24 months preferred.

Additional Information

First-time travel nurses are accepted; prior travel experience is not required.
Night shift hours with potential for overtime.
Pay multipliers apply for overtime, holidays, call back, and on-call hours.
Local candidates within 50 miles are eligible.

This position is ideal for experienced Stepdown nurses seeking a temporary night shift assignment with a supportive interdisciplinary team and EPIC EMR experience.
