MRI Technologist

Location: Bridgeport, West Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Work in an outpatient patient setting within a hospital.
• Perform pre-op testing, basic X-ray imaging, EKGs, and IV starts for modalities requiring bloodwork.
• Average of 80 scans/studies per day.
• Use Epic and Synapse EMR/PACS systems.
• Operate equipment including U-arm.
• No floating or covering other areas.
• Not the only tech in-house; team environment.
• No weekend, holiday, call, or standby requirements.
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
• Scrubs provided; navy color dress code.

Department Details

• Radiology department with 2 scanners/rooms.
• No radiologist in-house 24/7.
• No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) used.
• Department specific orientation provided.

Required Qualifications

• BLS (AHA) Certification.
• ARRT Certification.
• West Virginia Radiology License.
• Ability to start IVs.
• Experience with X-Ray and MRI imaging.

Additional Information

• No prior travel experience explicitly required.
• No weekend or holiday shifts.
• No call or standby duties.

This position is ideal for a radiologic technologist skilled in MRI and X-ray imaging, comfortable with IV starts and EKGs, and looking for a weekday outpatient role without weekend or holiday work.
