Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Location: Hot Springs, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in a 40-bed Med/Surg unit with a patient ratio of 1:6.
Unit includes Orthopedics specialty.
12-hour shifts with approximately 36 guaranteed hours per week.
Weekend hours every other week (EOW).
Float requirements apply.
Electronic Health Record system used: Meditech.
Dress code: Navy scrubs.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas.
Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience within the last year.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Information

Patient population primarily adult.
Call requirements not specified.
Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment with common Med/Surg and Orthopedic diagnoses and treatments.

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
Orientation sessions are scheduled regularly throughout the year.
