Location: Portland, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract

Job Details

- On-call required: Yes, 3 shifts per month
- Weekend shifts required: Yes (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Block schedules required: Yes

Required Qualifications
- Valid license as an X-Ray Technologist (Radiology discipline) as applicable by state regulations
- Certifications (must be current and from approved organizations):
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Other certifications as required by clinical track or unit (verify with clinical leadership)
- Physical Exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Immunizations and Health Requirements:
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years (declination accepted)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal Flu vaccine during flu season or declination
- COVID vaccine or declination
- Drug Screening: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
- Respirator Fit Testing: Required for travel candidates, must be updated annually
- Background Checks:
- Comprehensive background check within 45 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
- State-specific searches as applicable
- References: Minimum of 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Employment Application: Must include at least last 5 years of employment with explanations for gaps or overlaps
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to work night shifts on weekends as specified
- On-call availability required
- Must complete required facility and regional training modules annually via LMS platform
- Must comply with float policy acknowledgment (may be required to float to other nearby facilities)
- Badge photo required for identification purposes
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable
- Color blindness testing may be required on a unit-by-unit basis
- Skills checklists must be updated annually if applicable
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology / Cardiology specialty (default to higher if discrepancies found)
- No explicit prior travel experience required
Notes
- This position uses Telemetry (Tele) monitoring terminology where applicable, not Telehealth
- All certifications and licenses must be verified and current before start
- Candidates must complete all required modules and documentation prior to start date
- Physical and health documents must be uploaded and valid as per requirements
