MRI Technologist - Contract

Location: Owosso, Michigan
Employment Type: Contract Clinician
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Responsible for patient safety and performing high-quality MRI studies. Ensures effective communication with radiologists and customers. May train new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications and aseptic injection technique.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic MRI images.
• Order supplies, clean the MRI unit, and assist in preparing equipment for transport daily.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and customers.
• Train new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience within the last year.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• CPR and BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Additional Information

• Candidates should be prepared for local travel between sites.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
