Description
Job Opportunity: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech
Location: Largo, Maryland
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 13 weeks)
Start Date: May 4, 2026, or ASAP
Shift: 4x10 hour shifts (06:45 AM - 7:15 PM)
- Must be flexible to occasionally rotate to other shifts
- Weekend/on-call required (one weekend per month, every third weekend)
- Pre-scheduled on-call shifts required (up to 6-7 call shifts in a 4-week schedule)
- Holidays required as scheduled
- Floating within specialty/department may be required
Job Description
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) / OR Tech role in Surgical Services
- Strong experience in Neuro and Orthopedic surgical cases is a hard requirement
- Patient age range: Adolescents through Geriatrics
- Operating rooms: 8 rooms
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technician
- Surgical Technician experience within the last year
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
- Strong Neuro surgical experience
- Strong Orthopedic surgical experience
- Ability to float within the specialty/department as needed
