Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Nights)

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Develop and implement total nursing care for patients through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care plans.
• Provide leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel.
• Maintain professional nursing practice standards in the clinical setting.
• Provide care to a diverse patient population including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma.
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Information

• Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays.
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered with adjusted placement terms.
• On-call pay applies with a minimum payout policy.
• Non-compete policy: Former direct employees are not eligible for agency placement until 6 months after direct employment ends.

• No increased pay rates for overtime, holidays, or call-back.
• The position involves working in a regional referral center providing comprehensive healthcare services.
