Job Opportunity: Sonographer (Vascular Tech)
Location: Redding, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
Seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technician specializing as a Vascular Technologist for a travel assignment. The role involves performing an average of 6-7 vascular studies per day using department-specific equipment including Philips Epiq 5. The position requires working with EMR/PACS systems (Cerner and Merge).
Schedule & Work Details
- Shift: 10-hour days, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Work Days: Friday through Monday
- Weekend work required
- Holiday work occasionally required
- Call/Standby required with a 30-minute response time, minimum of 2 call nights per week
- No self-scheduling available
- Scrub color: Teal (scrubs provided)
- Department-specific orientation provided
- Radiologist available in-house
- No IV starts required
- No use of Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Vascular Technologist
- Active BLS (AHA) certification
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification via ARDMS
- Valid California license for Vascular Technologist
