Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) (Days)
Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 10 weeks
Job Description
- 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours
- Unit has 14 beds with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Use of robotics equipment including DaVinci Xi, Mako, Rosa
- EMR system: EPIC
- Orientation date provided
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months of current Operating Room experience
- Proficient experience with DaVinci robotics
- Proficient experience in Orthopedics including Total Joints and general surgery
- Proficient Spine experience
- EPIC EMR experience
- Active Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license at time of submission
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Valid Driver’s License
- Skills checklist specific to Operating Room Nurse discipline
- Professional reference or performance evaluation within the last 24 months preferred
Additional Information
- Prior travel experience within the previous 24 months is preferred
- Scrub experience is a plus
- Clinical interview pre-screening will be conducted
Note: This position requires working day shifts in the Operating Room.
