    Required Qualifications

    • Appropriate state license for Nuclear Medicine Tech in California
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation)
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation)
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation)
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (AAP, AHA, or Canadian Paediatric Society)
    • Chemotherapy certification (if applicable)
    • Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification (if applicable)
    • IV Certification (if applicable)
    • Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) certification (if applicable)
    • NIH Stroke Certification (renewed every 2 years, if applicable)
    • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification (if applicable)
    • State professional license copy (CPDH Certificate required for RTs in CA)
    • NURSYS verification (for RNs, if applicable)

      • Varicella vaccination or positive titer or declination
      • Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season
      • COVID vaccine or declination
    • Respiratory Safety Clearance for respirator use, medically cleared annually (travel only)
    • Photo for badge (passport style with neutral background)
    • Employment application covering at least last 5 years
    • Minimum of 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within last 3 years

    Training and Competency Requirements

    • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
    • Competency exams as required by specialty
    • Color Blind Testing (if specifically requested)
    • Skills checklists updated annually (if applicable)
    • Specialty and regional mandatory training modules via WorkRamp platform, including:
      • Annual regulatory requirements
      • Specialty-specific modules for travel and per diem staff
      • Regional core and specialty-specific modules
      • Trauma-informed care modules (effective for new and extended placements starting 12/22/2025)
    • Epic access training modules (if applicable, especially for SoCal and certain regions)

    Additional Notes

    • Float policy acknowledgment required; may be asked to float to other nearby facilities
    • State-specific background and registry checks required for Washington and Oregon placements (if applicable)
    • Some certifications and requirements may be waived for non-clinical or remote workers
    • All certifications must be current and verifiable through appropriate systems or documentation
