Description
Registered Nurse (OP Infusion)
Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Overview
- Work in an outpatient infusion setting providing care to approximately 50 patients per day.
- Department typically staffs 6-7 RNs daily.
- Infusion responsibilities include chemotherapy, antibiotics, blood products, iron, fluids, and various injections.
- Shift length: 8 hours (mostly 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM), Monday through Friday.
- No on-call duties.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Nebraska
- Minimum of 2 years of infusion experience, with infusion experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
- Candidates may not be currently employed full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with the specified health system.
- Department hours: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with variable shift start and end times within this window.
