Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Terre Haute, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts (40 hours per week) with flexibility to meet department needs
Weekend Requirement: None
Floating Requirement: None
On-call Rotation:

• Monday – Friday, 4 pm – 7 pm
• Saturday and Sunday, 10 am – 2 pm
• 1-hour response time required

Job Description

Perform duties in General Nuclear Medicine and PET CT, including Y-90 Microsphere Therapy (preferred). Orientation is available weekly.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Indiana
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year (minimum 1 year total experience)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Valid Indiana State Department of Health (ISDOH) certification
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT (N) certification
• Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification (PET)

Preferred Qualifications

• PET/CT registration and/or experience
• Experience with Y-90 Microsphere Therapy

Additional Information

• BLS Certification and NMTCB (PET) preferred
• Candidates living within 50 miles are not accepted
• On-call coverage is required as noted above
• Overtime is not billable until over 48 hours worked in the work week

• Extensions require leadership approval, typically taking about 2 weeks
