    Location: Santa Monica, California
    Employment Type: Travel/Contract
    Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

    Job Details

    • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
    • Shift Requirements:
      • Weekend availability is REQUIRED
      • On-call coverage includes:
        • One weekday shift per week from 4:00 PM to 7:00 AM
        • One three-day weekend per month (Friday 4:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)
    • Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital, Magnet Facility
    • Total Staffed Beds: 377
    • Charting System: Epic
    • Scrub Color: Any color (L/D & OR scrubs provided)
    • Parking: Free

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in California
    • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
    • Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
    • Weekend and on-call availability as described above

    Certifications (as applicable)

    • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation certification
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation certification (if required)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation certification (if required)
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) (if applicable)
    • Other certifications may be required based on clinical track and specialty

    Compliance & Documentation Requirements

    • Background Check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
    • Drug Screening: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
    • Physical Exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
    • Immunizations and Health Documents:
      • TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
      • TDAP vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted)
      • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
      • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
      • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
      • Flu vaccine during flu season or declination
      • COVID vaccine or declination
    • Respirator Fit Testing (for travel candidates starting on or after 2/5/2024)
    • References: Minimum 2 references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years in comparable specialty/setting
    • Employment Application covering at least last 5 years of employment

    Additional Notes

    • Must comply with facility-specific float policies (may be required to float to other nearby facilities)
    • Required to complete mandatory WorkRamp training modules prior to start and annually thereafter
    • Epic training modules required for clinical staff
    • Color blindness testing may be required on a unit-by-unit basis
    • Radiation badges issued by facility if applicable
    • Skills checklists required annually for applicable units
    • Candidates must meet all state-specific requirements for California
