Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D) (Days)

Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide nursing care to patients from infancy through the adult lifespan.
Utilize knowledge of age-related growth and development to individualize nursing care.
Follow nursing philosophy, standards of care, and standards of practice.
Support a midwife-led, low-intervention approach to pregnancy care emphasizing natural birth with medical resources available if needed.
Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at submission; no more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted.
Block scheduling or schedule accommodations will NOT be considered.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Hampshire
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
Experience in Postpartum care
Experience with Epic EMR system
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Active American Heart Association BLS certification
Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Must have own vehicle (firm requirement)
Must include permanent address in profile
All medical and occupational health compliance items must be completed and documented within 5 days of offer acceptance

Preferred Qualifications

AWHONN Certification within the past 3 years.

Additional Information

No local travelers within 50 miles of the facility will be considered.
Travelers cannot work concurrently with another permanent placement or travel assignment for this role.
All scheduling requests and time off must be submitted upfront; requests after offer or during interview will not be approved and may result in rescinded offers.
Non-billable orientation required.
Call requirement: 4.00 (details not specified).
