Registered Nurse - Med Surg
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Unit Name: 7 Tower
- Number of Beds: 33
- Patient Ratio: 5:1
- Staffing: Charge nurse, RNs, Techs, Secretary
- Documentation System: Meditechs
- Scheduling: Every other weekend required; requests for time off and special scheduling considered
- Floating Policy: Travelers rotate floating duties as needed
- Patient Experience: White Boards must be filled out
Job Description
- Work in a regular medical/surgical unit
- Basic medical-surgical knowledge required
- Advanced skills needed (not specified)
- Procedures typical of a med/surg area
- Dress Code: Navy blue, black, royal blue, or any gray scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Minimum of 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Summary
