Job Description
Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with ICU specialty to provide critical care nursing services in an intensive care unit setting.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including ICU experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- CPI/MOAB certification
Onboarding & Compliance Requirements
- Professional documents such as resume/profile, signed assignment agreement, and professional references.
- Background checks including criminal history, employment verification, and EPLS.
- Health and immunization documentation including:
- MMR (two vaccines or positive titer)
- Varicella immunity or vaccination
- Tdap (valid within 10 years)
- Hepatitis B vaccination or declination
- Influenza vaccine (optional, with mask requirement if declined during flu season)
- TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA, chest x-ray if positive)
- Fit test for respiratory protection (annual)
- Drug screening (12-panel, within 30 days prior to start and annually thereafter)
- Completion of required training modules and attestations including:
- Core competencies (HIPAA, OSHA, Joint Commission, etc.)
- Specialty exams and skills checklists updated regularly
- Crisis intervention training (CPI/MOAB)
- EKG competency exam
- Color vision test
- Onsite onboarding processes including badge photo and contract worker orientation.

- Telemetry (Tele) is not mentioned; this is an ICU float position.
- All certifications must be current and compliant with American Heart Association standards.
