Description
Occupational Therapist Travel Position
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Discipline: Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Employment Type: Travel
- Shift: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, rotating schedule including weekends
- Unit: Rehab Services (Inpatient acute care)
- Patient Ratio: 8-10 patients daily
- EMR System: EPIC
- Weekend Requirement: Yes, 2-3 weekends per month
- On Call: Not required
- Scrub Color: Light green
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 175
- Number of Therapy Staff: Approximately 60 (PT, OT, SLPs, PTAs, COTAs)
- Setting: Inpatient acute care facility
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Alaska
- Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- Occupational Therapist Registration (OTR) Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Acute care experience
Skills & Preferences
- Must Have: Acute care experience
- Personality Fit: Independent worker

- Heavy weekend rotation required (Saturday and Sunday)
