Registered Nurse - ICU

Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Provide nursing care in an ICU setting.
  • Orientation is held weekly on Mondays.
  • Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel.
  • The facility offers a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services.
  • The hospital is Joint Commission Accredited, a Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI, and a Certified Primary Stroke Center.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico.
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, with ICU experience within the last year.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • ACLS certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • Fingerprinting and background check required before hire (except physicians).
  • Travelers may start on a 14-day waiver while waiting for background results but must be supervised during this period.
