Registered Nurse - ICU

Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide nursing care in an ICU setting.
Orientation is held weekly on Mondays.
Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel.
The facility offers a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services.
The hospital is Joint Commission Accredited, a Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI, and a Certified Primary Stroke Center.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico.
Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, with ICU experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
ACLS certification.
BLS certification.
Fingerprinting and background check required before hire (except physicians).
Travelers may start on a 14-day waiver while waiting for background results but must be supervised during this period.

Additional Information

The position is year-round with opportunities to enjoy outdoor activities in the surrounding area, including hiking, biking, and horseback riding.
Compliance with New Mexico Department of Health regulations is mandatory.
