Registered Nurse - Pediatric Cardiac OR

Shift Details
- 12-hour day shifts (06:45 – 19:15)
- Total hours per week: 36
- Weekend rotation: Call only (2 weekends in a 6-week period)
- On call: 1 call shift per week with 30-minute response time
Patient Population
- Neonates to 18 years old, including adult-sized patients
- Patients may have developmental delays and/or congenital anomalies
- Cardiothoracic cases such as Tetralogy of Fallot, pericardial window, transposition of great vessels, open heart valve repairs, ECMO, PDA ligation through thoracotomy, ASD repairs
Facility Level
- Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
- Level IV NICU
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years Pediatric Cardiovascular Operating Room (Peds CVOR) experience
- Prior travel experience not required unless less than 5 years Peds CVOR experience (then first-time traveler not accepted)
- WA State or compact RN license
- BLS and PALS certifications required
- CNOR certification preferred
Skills
- Highly preferred: IV start, scrubbing, arterial line management, circulating experience with pediatric cardiac patients

- Floating to general OR to assist with cases when not busy in CVOR
