Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery (Travel)

Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide nursing care in the Labor & Delivery specialty. The facility offers a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient services and is Joint Commission Accredited, including certification as a Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Certifications:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Additional Information

Orientation is held weekly on Mondays.
Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff.
The area offers year-round sunshine and numerous outdoor recreational activities including hiking, biking, and horseback riding.

No prior travel experience is explicitly required for this position.
