Registered Nurse (PCU) - Travel Assignment

Location: Marion, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Acute Care (Progressive Care Unit)
Number of Beds: 23
Patient Ratios:
- Day shift: 1 nurse to 5 patients
- Night shift: 1 nurse to 6 patients
Staffing Support:
- 1 Health Unit Coordinator (HUC)
- 3 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) on days
- 2 PCTs on nights
Documentation System: Cerner
Floating Policy: As needed, only to Emergency Department
Dress Code: Navy scrubs required

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, including experience within the last year
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Positive work culture with many travel staff returning for multiple assignments

Scheduling is based on facility needs
Equipment and technology are up to date to support patient care
