Description
Job Opportunity: Certified Surgical Technician - Operating Room
Location: Manchester, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Operating Room with 10 ORs in a hospital licensed for 330 beds
- Approximately 50 staff members
- Day Shift: RNs, Surgical Technicians (STs), Unit Assistants (UAs)
- Night Shift: Call team
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Equipment includes DaVinci Robot, Endovascular Suite, Neurospine microscope, hysteroscopy pump
- Electronic Medical Record system: Altera
Typical Procedures
- Orthopedics
- Robotics
- Gynecology
- Urology
- Vascular and Endovascular procedures
- Basic cranial/neuro procedures
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technician (CST) certification must be in hand prior to submission
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technician, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with orthopedics, total joints, general surgery, robotics, basic endovascular skills, urology, and neuro
Work Schedule & Environment
- Assigned stay-late call during the week
- Occasional overnight call on Friday and Saturday
- Holidays as needed (PRN)
- Scrubs provided by the unit
- No floating to other areas
Personality Fit
- Work hard, play nice

- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
- Call coverage may require neuro experience.
