Job Opportunity: Inpatient Physical Therapist

Location: Zanesville, Ohio

Job Description

• Work in an inpatient acute care setting at a Level 3 Trauma Center with semi-complex patients.
• Patient population includes adults, geriatrics, and young adults.
• Common patient diagnoses:

  • Orthopedics and joint replacement post-operative surgery (familiarity preferred)
  • Neurosurgical and neurological conditions
  • Cardiovascular cases including CABG patients
  • Vestibular disorders
  • General surgery patients
  • Medically complex and intubated patients in critical care
• Use of EPIC EMR system preferred.
• Daytime schedule on acute inpatient unit.
• Typical shifts: Five 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday with flexible start/end times (8:00-4:30 or 9:00-5:30).
• Alternative schedule option: Four 10-hour shifts Wednesday-Saturday (7:00-5:30).
• If working primarily Monday-Friday, expect to cover 2+ weekend day shifts per month with flexibility.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Ohio
• Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification

Additional Information

• Facility reserves the right to cancel shifts up to 36 hours during the 13-week contract.
• All requested time off must be disclosed at submission and included in the contract confirmation.
• Scheduling flexibility is important due to joint replacement surgery coverage needs.
