Unit Information

• Main Operating Room focused on Spine and Joint procedures
• 3 ORs dedicated to Spine and Joint cases
• 9 ORs for Spine and Joint, plus 4 for International Hip Preservation Center
• Staff of approximately 60 members
• Day Shift: Mon-Fri, 7 AM to 7 PM, staffing 8-11 rooms daily
• Weekend coverage: Call only on Saturdays and Sundays
• Night Call: 5 PM to 11 PM, Mon-Fri, no overnight required
• Equipment: Specialized for Spine and Joint surgeries
• EMR system: Meditech

Typical Procedures

• Spine Fusions
• Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion (ALIF)
• All Spine Cases
• Total Joint Replacement

Required Qualifications

• Valid Surgical Technician license in Colorado
• Certified Surgical Technician (CST) or NBSTA Certification (active)
• DORA Certification (active)
• BLS Certification
• HHCCA - De-escalation Skills - Healthcare Setting
• Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technician experience, including within the last year
• Experience with Spine and Joint scrub duties is mandatory

Preferred Qualifications

• General Surgery experience is a plus
