Physical Therapist (PT) - Inpatient (Days)

Location: New London, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide individualized care for safe and effective recovery in the shortest period of time. Services include inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation for a variety of conditions such as:

• Stroke recovery
• Orthopaedic surgery recovery
• Arthritis treatment
• Compression garment measurements
• Craniosacral therapy
• Ergonomics
• Functional capacity evaluations
• Gait disturbances
• Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) for Parkinson's
• Lymphedema treatment
• Neurological disorders treatment
• Occupational therapy for upper extremities
• Orthopedics
• Orthotic fabrications (temporary and permanent)
• Pelvic therapy and incontinence rehabilitation (male and female)
• Physical therapy
• Post-concussion treatment
• Post-surgical therapy
• Splint fabrication
• Speech therapy (language and swallowing disorders)
• Vestibular and balance services

Note:

• Only one position available.
• Travel pairs will not be considered.
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
• Requested time off during the assignment must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no requests will be approved after submission or during interview. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted.
• Orientation is non-billable.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of inpatient Physical Therapy experience (highest required years of experience).
• New Hampshire Physical Therapist license or Compact license (must be uploaded with profile).
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment.
• One supervisory reference from within the past two years of employment (signed).
• Prior travel experience is preferred but not required.
