Description

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Columbus, Indiana
Contract Length: 23 weeks

Job Overview

Perform nuclear medicine oncology and cardiology exams
Work alongside another Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Utilize equipment including GE PET scanner, EPIC EMR, and McKesson RIS/PACS
Unit includes 1 PET scanner and 2 injection rooms

Schedule

Day shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Typical shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
On-call rotations:
- Saturdays and Sundays every 3rd weekend, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM every third week

Required Qualifications

Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Indiana
Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or ARRT (NM)
Certified Nuclear Cardiology Technologist (NMTCB-NCT) verification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Additional Information

Dress code: Any color scrubs
Local candidates within any radius are accepted with no change to rate
