Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: Farmington, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work in a 14-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a Level III trauma center.
- Patient population primarily adult.
- Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:2.
- Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
- Required to float to other inpatient nursing units.
- Electronic Health Record system used: Cerner.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience and ability to float to other inpatient nursing units
Additional Information
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced ICU environment with adult patients.
- Opportunity to work in a scenic region with access to outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, and sightseeing.
- Float requirements include coverage of other inpatient nursing units.
