Registered Nurse (OR RN) - Minnesota, Winona
Position Details
- Contract length: 6 weeks
- Shift: Days
- Hours per day: 8
- Hours per week: 36
- Schedule: 5 shifts per week, typically 0645-1515 with late stay and on-call rotations
- Call requirements:
- Weeknights: 1-2 times per week, approximately 15.5 hours total
- Weekends: 1-2 times per month, 24-hour shifts from Saturday 0645 to Sunday 0645
- Holidays: May be asked to participate in holiday call rotations including day before, day of, and day after; holiday coverage may extend to adjacent weekends
- Call response time: 30 minutes
- Floating: May be asked to float into OR scrub role, PAA/PACU, or sterile processing as needed

- Average cases per day: 5-25
- EMR system: Cerner/Oracle
- Charge nurse coverage: 1 charge nurse for OR/PAA/PACU

- Scrub color/dress code: Provided at facility; scrubs cannot be worn outside the facility; professional appearance required upon arrival
- Orientation: 1-2 shifts with preceptor plus 1-2 call shifts with preceptor

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Minnesota
- Minimum 3 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience in Trauma Level 3 & 4 facilities and Critical Access Hospitals
- Orthopedics and trauma experience
- BLS certification
