Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - 24/7 AD/DIP
Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Nursing
Contract Length: 11 weeks
Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM (13-week assignment)
Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
On-Call: Yes, on-call requirements apply
Work Schedule: One day off per week (determined at start)
Position Overview
- Coordinate nursing care including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care.
- Provide leadership through preceptor roles, informal leadership, and quality improvement efforts.
- Delegate patient care based on skill level, experience, patient acuity, and resources.
- Support professional nursing practice across various settings and the continuum of care.
- Attend the surgeon and surgical team peri-operatively to ensure optimal peri-operative experience.
- Apply knowledge of anatomy, instrumentation, patient safety, and sterile technique.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Operating Room (OR) experience with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- The role requires excellent communication skills, mentoring, and teaching abilities.
- Participation in committees or projects may be expected.
