Registered Nurse (RN) - 24/7 AD/DIP

Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Nursing
Contract Length: 11 weeks
Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM (13-week assignment)
Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
On-Call: Yes, on-call requirements apply
Work Schedule: One day off per week (determined at start)

Position Overview

• Coordinate nursing care including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care.
• Provide leadership through preceptor roles, informal leadership, and quality improvement efforts.
• Delegate patient care based on skill level, experience, patient acuity, and resources.
• Support professional nursing practice across various settings and the continuum of care.
• Attend the surgeon and surgical team peri-operatively to ensure optimal peri-operative experience.
• Apply knowledge of anatomy, instrumentation, patient safety, and sterile technique.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Operating Room (OR) experience with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
